At our recent Partnership Dinner, much was celebrated by our campus ministry and her supporters. With 60 people in attendance, we heard the vision of campus ministry; we were introduced to Brian Bork, the new campus minister in Waterloo; and we raised significant funds for both the ministry in Waterloo and Guelph Campus Ministry. More importantly, we built many new bridges between the campus and our supporting churches, enjoying several stories from the student leaders involved in the activities on campus.

Did you know that . . .

• Our campus ministries have a history that stretches over 30 years;
• Some of Ontario’s most dynamic faculty discussion groups have been held in Waterloo;
• Over a 100 students worship together regularly in Guelph;
• We offer Alpha and engage in social justice campaigns, with students having raised over $100,000 for AIDS;
• Both of our campus ministries receive just over half of their annual budget from the regional Christian Reformed Churches;
• Our Home Missions grants are declining on an annual basis;
• This year, Guelph Campus Ministry, for example, has to raise $9,000 from individual donors and ministry supporters.
